Technology More and more horizontal completion relies on large scale fracking, especially for shale gas and consolidated oil. There are a number of simulation system that can simulate the fractures width/length/extension. However, the actual fracture visualization is difficult to know. EverGreen provides new ENRT technology to 3D visualize the fracture downhole. Using non-radioactive proppant/sand tracers, tracers can be mixed into proppant or sand and pumped into each stage. Tracers for each stage has an unique tag. And such a tagging feature can be long time preserved. Whenever in initial flowback, or medium or long term production, a logging tool can be deployed into the vertical section of the well to acquire the data of those tracers. After analysis and interpretation, a 3D visualization of the main fractures for each stage can be provided and a quantitative half length, width and height of each main fractured can be calculated. |
