Technology Packer leak is a common well integrity issue. Conventional solution is to kill the well, pickup tubing and exchange packer. ERS sealant can be pumped or squeezed into annulus A at wellhead. Sealant is pure liquid and can gravity fall down to atop of packer, where it will crosslinks to form a high cohesive and bonding strength to permanent shut off any leak at packer. Application Over 40 packer leak cure jobs have been done for offshore oil & gas wells and all are successful. |
