Technology Accidental perforation may happen during Plug & Perf or Coiled deployed perforation. Some perf zones have to be abandoned. Cement squeeze can shut off some of the cases. But mostly cement squeeze can not shut off due to its filter cake effect. Combining PGS/RARS/ERS sealants and spotting to near perf hole or perf zones, squeezing sealant into perf hole or perf zone can securely shut off. And a high strength to hold high differential pressure can be achieved after sealant crosslinks. It greatly help subsequent multi-stage hydraulic fracking. Of course, an entire well integrity can be rebuilt. Sealant can be spotted via E-line/Slickline/DP/Tubing. Surface pumping can squeeze sealant into target perf hole or zones. |
